You guys. I AM SO STOKED to share that two of my podcast friends, Jess and Kami, are starting our own segment of the Hallmarkies Podcast called Deliver Me a Podcast: Talking all things Signed Sealed Delivered!
We are super duper excited to get this kicked off and can’t wait to support all of the POstables out there. If you’re new here and want to know why I LOOOOOVE this series, check out my article “25 Reasons to Watch Signed Sealed Delivered.” Y’all. I’m a super fan. Like if they have a POstables convention like the Hearties Family Reunion or Comic Con, I would totally be there in a heartbeat. And If I ever get to talk to Martha Moonwater Williamson, I will 100% pass out from sheer delight and excitement because she is absolutely brilliant.
You can find our episodes under the Hallmarkies Podcast on Stitcher, iTunes, etc. And if you want to see our faces, we’re also on YouTube. Here’s our first episode! Hope you enjoy!
For years I’ve been really ill and in so much pain most days I don’t want to get out of bed. Drowning in hopelessness I’ve stopped dreaming and was amazed to wake up one day recently with a dream of Oliver reading to his three year old daughter cozy in his lap. He laughed his Oliver laugh and I knew my Father God’s love for me better because of it. I entertained myself for hours with delightful scenarios of Norman and Rita having 3 or 4 kids of their own, intimate with Oliver and Shane’s two children – Little Rascals style. I used flashbacks of things like Shane and Oliver’s wedding to bring me up to married with children. I have not had that kind of fun in my own mind in a lot of years. Signed Sealed and Delivered, however, has been a constant source of delightful fun since I found it around Mother’s Day, and medicinal to me since my own mind isn’t working well. My torment lessens and the earthquakes inside me subside as I watch these precious hours of love and joy and kindness. How grateful I am for each of them.
