Hi, friends!
It’s me, Kaycee, if you forgot, or if you’re new– hello!
I have one problem (and it’s probably my enneagram nine-ness coming out), but, I have so many ideas and so many thoughts swirling around in my head, but when it comes to blogging, I change directions all the time. This used to be a place where I gushed about my favorite Hallmark movies. Well, when that kicked off, I became a co-host on the Hallmarkies Podcast. You can actually find me ranting about Chesapeake Shores, gushing about Signed, Sealed, Delivered, or over-analyzing When Calls the Heart on the podcast. I decided that one avenue for Hallmark critiques was enough because as a busy mama of two little girls, I just didn’t have time for both avenues. However, I didn’t want to give up blogging, so I switched this over to a lifestyle blog. You honestly probably didn’t notice because I posted twice in the last half of 2019.
Well, friends, I’m back and I’m embracing the lifestyle blog again. Writing and journaling have always been a passion of mine. I’ve always stopped due to one thing: fear. Fear of what people thought of me, fear of being misunderstood, fear of failure, and fear of just being just me. Late last year, I did a lot of thinking about the last decade. I wasted a whole lot of time between 2010 and 2020. And now I’m coming up on thirty.
I’m not wasting any more time. It’s time to get moving.
With this new inspiration, I’m also wanting to take this one step further…. and I’m really excited to announce that I’m launching the “Goodness + Grace Project.”
There’s a lot of negativity out there on the interwebs. But that’s not what this site is going to be about. My goal is for you to not only find relatable tips, deals, and recommendations but for you to find a community of encouragement. This site is going to focus on encouraging and equipping women to discover God’s goodness and grace in their every day lives. The last decade taught me so much and I want to share where God’s brought me in the last decade. More importantly, I want to hear from you. How have you seen goodness and grace in your life? I want to share your story so together we can encourage women around the world. And who knows– one day if this thing really takes off, I’ll turn this portion of it into a podcast.
